Stellantis is seeking Engineers who are passionate, positive, responsive, flexible, and who seek excellence. They will deliver battery management software that exceeds expectations for safe, reliable, powerful, and versatile Stellantis electrified vehicles. The BMS Software Release Engineer is responsible for developing advanced automotive battery packs from initial design concept through full volume production. The Engineer is responsible for the release and system integration of the HVBS on ePT vehicles, including BEV, HEV, PHEV, and BSG architectures.


Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop program HVBS software requirements that satisfy vehicle level functional objectives Coordinate ePT HVBS packaging activities with advanced concept engineering team Execute programs through PDP that meet or exceed objectives for performance, cost, weight, investment, and quality;
  • Develop and publish HVBS performance standards Author and submit source packages to support ePT product plans;
  • Develop system level DVP and coordinate component level DVP with Tier 1 supplier;
  • Execute design for manufacturing process and coordinate assembly process with manufacturing engineering;
  • Provide program deliverables on time per major development milestones;
  • Lead PDT meetings with Tier 1 suppliers;
  • Coordinate HVBS change management (CCD, CN, IAA, PER)
  • Execute standardization plans and reuse of validated subcomponents.

Requisitos

Basic Qualifications:

  • BSME, BSEE, BSCE experience;
  • Understanding of Energy Storage Systems and Vehicle Electrification;
  • Good Analytical and Problem Solving Skills;
  • Familiar electrification architectures including EV, HEV, PHEV and BSG systems;
  • Highly Motivated with Self Motivation;
  • DVP&R and DFMEA Basic Understanding;
  • Demonstrated Ability to Work in a Team Environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MSME or MSEE;
  • Vehicle electrification engineering experience;
  • Advanced automotive battery design and testing experience;
  • Product Design and Release Experience;
  • Requirements Definition and Management;
  • Change Control and Issue Management Tracking.
