Stellantis is seeking Engineers who are passionate, positive, responsive, flexible, and who seek excellence. They will deliver battery management software that exceeds expectations for safe, reliable, powerful, and versatile Stellantis electrified vehicles.
The BMS Software Release Engineer is responsible for developing advanced automotive battery packs from initial design concept through full volume production and for the release and system integration of the BMS on BEV vehicle architectures for products that specifically require in-house BMS controls
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop program BMS software requirements that satisfy vehicle level functional objectives;
- Cross-functional coordination of SW planning, requirements decomposition, integration and validation efforts with internal and external stakeholders in order to meet critical program milestones;
- Lead coordination of BMS SW CDR reviews internally and with the supplier;
- Develop and publish BMS performance standards;
- Manage validation efforts with cross functional team and supplier;
- Execute design for manufacturing process and coordinate assembly process with manufacturing engineering;
- Provide program deliverables on time per major development milestones;
- Lead PDT meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage, track and resolve critical issues;
- Coordinate BMS change management (CCD, CN, IAA, PER).
Requisitos
Basic Qualifications:
- BSME, BSEE, BSCE experience;
- Understanding of Energy Storage Systems and Vehicle Electrification;
- Good Analytical and Problem Solving Skills - Familiar electrification architectures including EV, HEV, PHEV and BSG systems;
- Highly Motivated with Self Motivation;
- DVP&R and DFMEA Basic Understanding;
- Demonstrated Ability to Work in a Team Environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MSME or MSEE;
- Vehicle electrification engineering experience;
- Advanced automotive battery design and testing experience;
- Electrification integration or release experience (EES, Calibration or Controls);
- Product Design and Release Experience;
- Requirements Definition and Management;
- Change Control and Issue Management Tracking.
