We are looking for a Design Release Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

-Oversee the design and release of legacy/launched Electric Drive Modules (Gen 1 EDM).

-Ensure the successful integration and validation of EDM systems within automotive applications.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address design, manufacturing, and quality issues.

-Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

-Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including DFMEA, DVP&R, and validation plans.

-Utilize simulation tools and methodologies to optimize power electronics and motor control systems.

-Analyze circuit schematics, perform worst-case analysis, and review layout drawings.

-Interface professionally with key customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical challenges.

-Manage multiple projects and responsibilities while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high accuracy.

-Stay updated with the latest advancements in power electronics and automotive technologies to apply best practices in ongoing projects.

Requisitos

Basic Qualifications

>BS degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical or equivalent Engineering Degree

>Experience of product development / product release experience in Automotive 

>Awareness of Power Electronics, Simulation Tools, and Motor Control Software Methodologies

>Ability to read/interpret Circuit Schematics, Worst Case analysis, layout drawings

>Knowledgeable in development of DFMEA, DVP&R, and Validation Plans

>Good analytical and problem solving skills 

>Highly motivated and self-starter 

>Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment 

>Ability to interface professionally with key customers, cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management 

>Strong verbal and written communication skills 

>Able to manage multiple responsibilities, one's own time while being mindful of deadlines 

>Must be task oriented, detail oriented, and accurate with work


Preferred Qualifications

>MS degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical or equivalent Engineering Degree

>Sr Experience of product development in Power Electronics

>Knowledge of PIM design and fabrication

>Hands on experience with design, release and manufacturing of critical Inverter Systems for Automotive applications

>Research Experience in Power Electronic Components or Motor Control Strategies 

>Capability to review Mechanical CAD data, perform mechanical and thermal simulations
