As a Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our web, mobile, and embedded applications. You will provide technical leadership, architect innovative solutions, and mentor the next generation of engineers. Your expertise in FOTA and developer products will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge solutions that delight our users.
Key responsibilities
Technical Leadership and Architecture
- Architecture Design: Defining and evolving the overall technical architecture for web, mobile, and embedded applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Technology Selection: Identifying and evaluating emerging technologies and tools to drive innovation and improve development efficiency.
- Technical Standards: Setting and enforcing technical standards and best practices to maintain code quality and consistency.
- Problem-Solving: Resolving complex technical challenges and providing innovative solutions.
FOTA and Developer Products
- FOTA Strategy: Developing and implementing strategies for efficient and secure over-the-air updates for embedded devices.
- Developer Tooling: Designing and building developer tools and SDKs to empower developers to create and integrate with the platform.
- API Design: Creating robust and well-documented APIs for seamless integration with various systems and services.
Team Leadership and Mentoring
- Mentorship: Guiding and mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure alignment and deliver high-quality products.
- Knowledge Sharing: Sharing knowledge and expertise through technical presentations, documentation, and code reviews.
Product Development and Innovation
- Product Vision: Contributing to the product vision and strategy, aligning technical capabilities with business objectives.
- Feature Development: Leading the design and development of complex features, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously optimizing application performance and resource utilization.
Security and Compliance
- Security Best Practices: Adhering to security best practices and implementing measures to protect sensitive data.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Innovation and Future-Proofing
- Emerging Technologies: Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies to drive innovation.
- Future-Proofing: Designing systems that are adaptable to future changes and evolving requirements.
Requisitos
Key Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- PhD preferred.
Experience:
- Have a long and diversity range of experiences in software development, with a significant portion in mobile app development and system integration.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Java).
- Deep knowledge of mobile app development frameworks, design principles, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and data structures.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:
- Proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
